New Balance Tiers Coming January 2005

• Money Market
• Business Money Market

If so, then read on to learn about upcoming changes to your account.

Because PlainsCapital Bank converted to digital imaging in 1995, we're taking the lead in implementing Check 21. This is just one additional way we're able to deliver the latest in banking technology to our customers.

PlainsCapital Bank will be instituting new balance tiers on Jan. 1, 2005 for its Interest Checking, Money Market and Business Money Market accounts. Today, we offer only three balance tiers but, beginning in January, we will offer the following five tiers

• $1,000 - 4,999
• $5,000 - 24,999
• $25,000 - 99,999
• $100,000 - 499,999
• $500,000 +

As a result of the changes to the balance tiers, some customers may earn a lower Annual Percentage Yield on their interest bearing account. Interest rates for these new tiers will be available from your PlainsCapital Bank customer service representative when the new tiers go into effect on Jan. 1, 2005.
